Getting Started with Microsoft 365
This guide walks you through setting up your Microsoft 365 subscription purchased through Softhost.
Step 1 – Activate Your Subscription
After purchasing, you will receive an email with your Microsoft 365 licence key and admin portal link. Log in at admin.microsoft.com using the credentials provided.
Step 2 – Add Your Domain
Go to Settings → Domains → Add Domain and enter your business domain. Follow the DNS verification steps — you will need to add TXT and MX records in your DNS provider.
Step 3 – Create User Accounts
Navigate to Users → Active Users → Add a User. Assign licences to each user as needed.
Step 4 – Migrate Existing Email
If migrating from another email provider, use the Exchange Admin Center migration wizard or contact our support team for assisted migration.
